The first new shooting sport since Sporting Clays

Overview

BANGO is the world's first shoot and retrieve sport. Remote controlled launchers simulate real hunting by projecting a special synthetic bird designed to stand up to a real shotgun blast. The BANGO target, a bio-degradeable balloon that incorporates powder and feathers, explodes upon impact in an exciting visual display that tells the shooter he hit the target. The rest of the target (soft bird shape) survives the shot and falls to the ground so that your dog can retrieve it.

BANGO — The Worlds First Shoot and Retrieve Sport

The best way to describe Bango is sporting clays with your dog. This new sport is being launched in 2007 by a consortium of the world's most innovative outdoor companies.

In competition, multiple synthetic birds take flight with the help of wireless controlled tournament launchers. The shooter may have to shoot in a blind, pit, or boat. He takes aim with a shotgun and fires at the birds. The BanGo biodegradable target explodes upon impact in an exciting visual display that tells the shooter he has hit the target. The rest of the bird target survives the shot and falls to the ground for the dog to retrieve.

Bango is an action packed, true hunting experience that matches both shooter and dog. The sport is designed for self-scoring and played in approximately 2 hours with 15 to 20 target shots and retrieves. Made for youth, sportsmen, and dog lovers; BanGo is the sport of the 21-century and 100% environmentally friendly. Tournament categories include: Open, Team, Father/Son, Youth, Women, Kids.

This new market has the potential to be bigger than the existing hunting and shooting markets.

In 2005, the concept of shoot & retrieve is invented and tested. The concept was easy. It's what Trap should have been in the 18th century.

Bring the game to the world

As history has proven personal desire and small teams dominate innovation. BanGo was innovated and tested by the Bumper Boy dog products company. President Tom Lalor soon realized that the shooting and dog training suffered because the sports did not meet what consumers wanted. The question ...what do they really want? That was not too hard. Duck hunting with your dog. Any time, any place and any season.

This led to the invention of the dog retrievable, shootable bird and target. Later named BanGo bird. This then started a technology curve that the outdoor business had never seen before. First came the development of the portable launcher, then the commercial 60 to 100 shooter and then fully automated wireless electronic controls.

Commercialization and roll out was planned through a consortium of the smartest companies in the industry (leaders in the shooting and accessories industry). Their job is to promote & develop a new shooting market and bring it to the world through mobile event trailer. This sport has a much broader appeal: especially to youth, women, and urban dwellers. The result is a new group of consumers that will use products such as guns, decoys, clothing ammunition, dog food, etc.

These companies realize the benefits for industry are immediate and may have more impact and potential market size than both hunting and clay sports today. Using tested games as formats and modeling from other games such as Bassmasters, allows them to meet the requirements of the 21st century sportsman.

BanGo is for everyone and every dog: most importantly, families and all dog breeds.

BanGo sport has been tested in both the US and Europe and will be ready to implement in 2007. Ask your favorite supplier to bring the game to your area.
