“BanGo was a great draw to help Fundraiser”

BanGomaster was proud to be part of the nationally recognized ‘Make a Break Thru for CF’ Sporting Clays tournament on April 26, 27 & 28, 2008. This annual tournament is not only one of the most highly regarded tournaments in the southeast, but it is the largest benefit sporting clays tournament in the great state of Tennessee and second largest in the southeastern United States. Cure Finders has raised over $450,000 in their first 5 years of doing this tournament and had over 300 participants this year.

Tournament goers were interested and excited, to say the least, when they saw the new BanGo shoot and retrieve sport being demonstrated. The BanGo demonstration was set-up in a real world set using decoys and blinds. Many shooters tried their skills at the BanGo hunt and some were surprised by the difficulty of the shots.

One of the shooters was David “Dirt” King of the well known television program Hunting University. “Dirt” and his wife Connie, who is also an avid hunter, loved the new shoot and retrieve sport. Brothers, 10 year old Kale and twelve year old Grey Deanda, when asked if they would like to shoot again said, “We have a whole box of shells, let’s shoot them!”

Over the years, it has been stated that the UK needs a sport that involves both shooter and dog; BanGo meets this expectation head on and is sure to grow over the years ahead. With 10 million gun days per year, 1,700 sporting centers, and some of the best dogs in the world, the UK Gun and Dog teams are truly a force in competition. We believe BanGo can create a great community for all players.

Representatives from the US Shooting Team were also excited about shooting BanGomaster and plan to attend future tournaments.

Janine, a dog handler, ran her dog named Boz. She said, “Boz is a little rusty, but this really makes us want to get back into the game.” John Keohane, director of National Development said, “There are hundreds of thousands of dog people and hunters that want to get back into the game like Janine & Boz and BanGo is the path to bring them back. This is exactly the response we except and love to hear”. BanGomaster’s goal is to get hunters, newcomers, kids and women excited to participate in the newest shoot and retrieve sport BanGo.
