First BanGo site hits Fischer Texas!
BanGomaster, in conjunction with the outdoor industry, shipped over $150,000 of tournament BanGo equipment to Fischer, TX in October for test and industry demonstrations. The demonstration site provides a great course and compliments the beauty of the outdoors.
Mr. Jerry Wood will be managing and providing independent marketing consulting for the site. Jerry's background is very diverse, having years of sales and marketing experience, being involved with Bassmaster in the early days, was (and still is) an avid hunter and dog trainer and worked with Tri-Tronics demonstrating their products at many of the largest retailers. Jerry is most excited about the potential of this game and the fact that it is the only game designed for the hunter or the average outdoor person. Jerry believes that the game and the courses will be the must effective dog training aid ever to be provided to the hunter. Hunters will use these BanGo courses to experience realistic hunting and training scenarios. This has never been done before and the BanGo tournament tour offers a new medium for all outdoor companies to market their brands.
The site will have 12 automated stations designed into realistic upland game and waterfowl set-ups. Each set up will look like your ideal wilderness set. Decoys, shooting blinds, dog blinds - all you would need to bring the birds in. The purpose of this site, and another proposed site in the east, is to provide marketing feedback from consumers and provide industry marketing intelligence. The test site is scheduled to have women's events, youth, hunter class, pro class and teams. Dog clubs, environmental groups, youths, competitive shooters and some of the largest outdoor companies will be invited to participate.
Jerry's vision of BanGo is - Disney for the outdoor enthusiast. He says the BanGo experience is only limited by your imagination. Jerry feels that course design will be as important to Bango as it is to golf. Imagine the classic duck set-up - water, boats, decoys, 3ft high water entry for the hard charging duck dog, and then the chance at the perfect triple shot. Or shooting doves, three birds high over the trees using elevated throwers. When designing BanGo courses, imagination is truly our only limit.
Tournament launchers on parade! Here the 12 launchers are lined up and waiting to be crated for their journey to Fischer, Texas. Jerry and his wife Elaine Wood are excited about being the first in the world to host a new sport.
Stay tuned for Jerry's feedback!!
